Physical event


This event is hybrid and you have the option to attend the event physically. Please note that the number of spaces onsite is limited due to COVID restrictions. If you have requested to attend the event physically, you will receive a confirmation email following registration, indicating wether a physical spot has been allocated for you.

Practical information:

  • Accommodation: Event participants are responsible for their own accommodation booking. Please click to see the list of recommended hotels within close vicinity of Bled, where the main conference takes place.
  • Travel: Event participants are responsible for their own travel booking to Ljubljana.
    Due to the covid-19 restrictions, we would advise you to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your departure. 
    Please check the travel and entry restrictions of Slovenia before you start your journey. It remains the responsibility of the passenger to be compliant with the entry restrictions. You can find information on travel regulations for Slovenia here https://reopen.europa.eu/en/map/SVN/7001

  • ShuttlesPlease note that if you are traveling by plane to Ljubljana's airport, we will organise shuttle buses that will take you directly to Bled upon presentation of the official event email with the confirmation. Please click to see the schedule for the shuttles from and to Ljubljana airport. 
    • If you wish to participate in the #BeActive Slovenian National Sport Day and Team Olympiad in the morning, a shuttle will be leaving the Hotel Park and the Rikli Balance Hotel at 07:30 to take you to the event. Make sure to pass by the registration desks before. 
  • Registration desks:
    • On 22 November, registration desks will be open at the Rikli Balance Hotel from 10:00 to 19:00.
    • On 23 November, registration desks will be open  at the Rikli Balance Hotel and at the Hotel Park from 07:00 until 19:00.

      Badges must be worn at all times to allow entrance into the halls

  • Dress code:
    • For the morning activities, make sure you wear comfortable and sporty clothing. You will have time to change before lunch.
    • For the conference you can wear smart casual clothing.

  • Wi-Fi: Complimentary Wi-Fi access will be available throughout the venue.
  • Cloakroom: A cloakroom will be available next to the conference room.

  • Language: The Launch of the HealthyLifestyle4All initiative will be in English.

  • Pictures and videos: Please note the event will be web streamed and pictures of you may be taken and might be used for related illustration and communication purposes for the European Commission. If you don't want to be filmed, please identify yourself to the organisers upon your arrival to the event as there will be a special seat/area allocated for you in the conference room.
